October 13th-14th, 2001 The Singers Retreat held bi-annually at the San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo. This highly anticipated event is good for sight-singers who enjoy singing Renaissance polyphony. Conducted by Professor William Mahrt of Stanford, the October 13th-14th, 2001 session features a mass and motets by the great Spanish Renaissance composer Cristobal Morales. The weekend of singing glorious music is evenly paced with commentary on the composer, his contemporaries, as well as current related musicological matters, a continuous snack-bar, good companionship, catered meals. Limited overnight accomodations are available. We welcome scholarship students.
